2005 Little League World Series

The 2005 Little League World Series was won by the West Oahu club of Ewa Beach, HI. The teams qualified by winning one of sixteen Region Tournaments. The team went 6-0, beating Willemstad, Curacao 7-6 in the finale. Hawaii catcher Michael Memea ended it in the 7th with a walk-off homer off reliever Chris Garia. Among those who played were future major leaguers Jurickson Profar (Willemstad) and Max Moroff as well as Dante Bichette, Jr., a first-round pick in the 2011 draft.
