The 1987 Little League World Series was the 41st Little League World Series. The teams were Glace Bay, NS, Hualien County, Moca, Espaillat, Dhahran, Irvine, CA, Chesterfield, IN, Dover, NH (the first New Hampshire entry) and Morristown, TN. Hualien dominated the tournament, with a 0.00 ERA. Aron Garcia of Irvine no-hit Dover. In the finale, Hualien crushed Irvine, 21-1. Yi-Hung Lin struck out 9 and scattered 6 hits while Garcia allowed 13 hits and 21 runs in 2 2/3 IP. Taiwanese leadoff man/LF Yu-Long Pang homered twice, scored four and drove in six.
