Indonesia 10,
Singapore 9. The Bronze Medal Game was back-and-forth before Indonesia won its 4th Bronze Medal in 5 Southeast Asian Games, Singapore again going home empty-handed. Singapore jumped to a 3-0 start in the first, Indonesia took a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the inning, Singapore went up 6-4 in the 4th, Indonesia tied it by the 6th and Singapore took a 8-6 lead into the bottom of the 9th. A walk, error and hit batsman loaded the bases with no outs. Jyoji Ito (who had started the game on the hill before moving to right) took over for Joshua Tam and got C Faldy Akhmad Zulfikar. A wild pitch and a throwing error let Indonesia tie it up; only one of their ten runs today would be an earned run! Ito retired DH I Gede Ricky Takahashi Suasta and 2B Diva Reza Fabil to send it to extra innings. In the top of the 10th, C Andre Shaw Jin Chia scored the go-ahead run against Ray Santoso but in the bottom of the inning, Indonesia fought back again. RF Akbar Aminudin singled in Suasta with the tying run, his 3rd RBI of the day. With the bases loaded, Ito plunked SS Rizki Ramadhan to force in Narendra Bismo Nugroho with the winner.
