Biographical Information[edit]
Trần Ngọc Tú has been on the Vietnamese national team.
He played short, second and third in the 2025 Southeast Asian Games; starting at short and batting third in the opener, he struck out against Thailand's Kamolphan Kanjanavisut. His first hit was off Malaysia's Wan Nazirul and he had a four-hit game versus Singapore. He hit .375/.412/.563 with 4 runs, 2 RBI and 2 steals (in 2 tries) in their 6 games, fielding .765. He was 8th in the Games in slugging (between Mark Manaig and Aditya Muflih Mahmud), tied for 2nd with 3 doubles (even with Yuthai Ryoto, Joe Daru and Mark Beronilla, one behind John Matanguihan) and tied for 5th in errors (4, even with Audric Chia, Nguyen Huu Hung, Muhammad Haikal bin Odin and Al Fakre Yaacob). He led Vietnam in runs, hits (6, one ahead of Ngo Duc Thuy) and doubles and paced their regulars in all the rate stats on offense. Only Phạm Mạnh Chiến had more RBI for the team. [1]
