Biographical Information[edit]
Muhammad Aqil Harith bin Azrul Akmal was the youngest baseball player in the 2025 Southeast Asian Games, 14 months younger than the next players. He struck out against Clarence Caasalan of the champion Philippines his lone time at the plate and handled four chances error-free. He pitched twice, going 0-1 with a 14.04 ERA and losing to Silver Medalist Thailand but was the third-best hurler on his staff after Wan Nazirul and Aiman Faqih. He tied Phạm Mạnh Chiến for 6th in hits allowed (14), was 10th in runs allowed (13, between Mung Chuevakham and Luong Tan Hoang Duy), tied Ching Kuang Chen for 5th in earned runs (11) and tied for 3rd in walks (8, behind Faqih and Ardhi Tristan Shah).
