Biographical Information[edit]
Chris Conran has been on the Thai national team.
He played baseball and football in high school then was 1-0 with a 0.73 ERA at Salt Lake Community College. [1] He allowed six runs (four earned) in 2 2/3 IP as a sophomore at Utah Valley University before injuries stalled his career. [2] He appeared on the TV show 'The Bachelorette' in 2020 as one of the contestants; at the time, he was working for a landscape architecture firm. [3]
He was one of the Thai-American imports on the Thai team for the 2025 Southeast Asian Games. He debuted against Laos, relieving Linus Oudom in the 5th with a 5-0 lead. He retired To Tava, walked Phonthammard Souksumlary, made a pickoff error that sent the runner to third, got Her Yer on a RBI grounder and fanned Youtthasat Herpaoyang. Thanakhit Saynongkham relieved and Conran got the win over Mung Chuevakham. His other outing was not as good. Relieving Wissaroot Sihamat in the 6th with a 4-2 lead over Gold Medal winner the Philippines, he K'd Clarence Caasalan on three pitches but allowed a Ferdinand Liguayan Jr. single, walked Joven Maulit and walked John Matanguihan. Phanuwat Sukmuang relieved and let all three runners in as the Philippines took the lead, but Thailand rallied (only to lose in the 10th) so Conran wasn't tagged with the loss. His 20.25 ERA was the team's highest in the event; Sukmuang was next at 5.40. [4]
