He hit .333 and had a 1.50 ERA in the 2023 East Asian Baseball Cup, losing the Bronze Medal Game to Thailand's Siraphop Nadee. [1] At the 2024 East Asian Baseball Cup, he defeated Indonesia's Rawafi Yaputra Yanto Rozali but was bested by Thailand again, losing to Phanuwat Sukmuang. He had a 1-1, 6.27 record and hit .538/.600/.769 with 5 runs in 4 games. He led the event in IP (18 2/3, 1/3 ahead of Wan Nazirul), strikeouts (14, one more than Nazirul), tied for second with four pitching appearances (one shy of Kiattisak Chutongrat), pitched the only complete game, tied Nazirul for the most hits allowed (27), was 4th in average, ranked 4th in slugging (between Ryota Wong and Tsz-Yin Jordan Wen), was 4th in OBP and placed 5th in OPS (between Mark Manaig and Faldy Akhmad Zulfikar). [2]

At the 2025 Southeast Asian Games, the 21-year-old was used almost exclusively as a pitcher (he had 2 AB). He went five shutout innings to beat Laos's To Tava and struck out all six batters to top Vietnam's Duong Nam Anh. He was outdueling Thailand's American imports Gabriel Buranasiri and Linus Oudom 4-2 after 6 but flagged in the 7th and gave way to Joshua Tam, who took the loss. He started the Bronze Medal Game versus Indonesia's Rozali and departed after 6 with a 7-6 lead; he moved to right field. After Tam allowed two unearned runs over two frames, it was a 8-8 tie entering the 9th. Ito took the hill again with a 10-9 lead in the bottom of the 10th and two men aboard. He yielded a RBI single to Akbar Aminudin and intentionally walked Aditya Muflih Mahmud then plunked Rizki Ramadhan to force in the losing run. He had a 2-1, 1.29 record for the Games, with 22 K to 2 BB in 21 IP. He tied Joshua Pineda and Romeo Jasmin Jr. for the win lead, was 5th in ERA, tied for 4th in games pitched (behind Yohan Xaiyaphone, Anh and Tam), tied Muhammad Arrifqi Zavianda for the most starts, led in IP (4 1/3 ahead of Nazirul), was 4th in hits allowed (18) and led in K (6 ahead of Dang Dinh Bao).
