Biographical Information

Gabriel Buranasiri has been on the Thai national team.

He had an excellent debut for them; relieving Yuri Kayanuma with a 5-1 lead over Bronze Medal-bound Indonesia at the 2025 Southeast Asian Games, he did not allow a hit, walk or run in three innings (he did hit Diva Reza Fabil and one batter reached via error) plus he struck out three. He also singled off Hadi Nur Muhammad. He got the win over Muhammad Arrifqi Zavianda. He was roughed up by Singapore in his lone start (3 IP, 3 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 4 BB, 6 K) but his team prevailed. In the Gold Medal Game against the Philippines, he allowed only one unearned run in 4 1/3 IP (3 H, 1 BB, 3 K), taking over from Linus Oudom with a 4-0 deficit as his team rallied, but fell short in a 5-3 defeat. He tied for 9th in the Games in pitching appearances, tied Wissaroot Sihamat and Joshua Tam for 7th in opponent average (.167), was 10th in IP (between Mung Chuevakham and Muhammad) and tied Romeo Jasmin Jr. for 5th in strikeouts.
