Biographical Information

Mar Joseph Carolino pitched a shutout inning against Thailand for the Philippines national baseball team in the 2024 East Asian Baseball Cup , and he played for them in the 2025 Asian Championship. He relieved Junmar Diarao in the 3rd inning against Japan, and Manami Soeda reached base due to Ian Mercado's error. Carolino then gave up a 2-run double to Keisho Amiya, and he retired Ryosuke Aizawa to end the inning. Carolino struggled again as Tomoya Furukawa hit a leadoff double off him, then Yukiya Yano drove in a run with a single. He walked Shohei Mizutani, and Yuki Tsujimoto added a RBI single before Carolino finally got Toyo Kumada, but he soon walked Soeda and Amiel de Guzman relieved him. He then succeeded Junmar Diarao in the 2nd inning against Palestine, and he pitched 3 1/3 innings with 5 Ks. He allowed 5 hits and 2 walks, including a RBI single to Rumsey Yasin.
