2023 College World Series

The 2023 College World Series was played at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha in Omaha, NE from June 16 to June 26. Eight teams qualified for the tournament by winning their Regional and Super-Regional Tournaments. The field was broken into two double elimination brackets of four teams each.
Louisiana State University defeated University of Florida in the finals. Paul Skenes was named the College World Series Most Outstanding Player.

The teams in the CWS are divided into two pools of four, with each pool playing a double-elimination format. The winners of the two pools meet in a best-of-three finals.

Tournament Notes[edit]
- LSU's Dylan Crews becomes the third player to win the Golden Spikes Award and National Championship in the same year, joining Terry Francona and Mark Kotsay.
- In LSU's last five games, they beat national #1 seed Wake Forest twice in a row, and national #2 seed Florida two out of three.
