Team History[edit]

The Lake County Captains are a Class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians. The team had previously been the Columbus Redstixx. In 2003 the Redstixx relocated to suburban Cleveland to play in the new Classic Park in Eastlake, OH. In 2010 the Captains moved, along with the Bowling Green Hot Rods, to the Midwest League.
