Biographical Information

Kyle Lindquist earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from Marietta College, but chose to follow baseball as a profession rather than business. After college he played independent league ball with the Rockford Aviators in 2012 and the Gary SouthShore RailCats in 2013.

Lindquist returned to Marietta to begin his coaching career as a volunteer assistant coach in 2013. He was an assistant coach for the Denison University Big Red from 2014-2018 and a volunteer assistant coach for Davidson College in 2019.

In 2020 the Cleveland Indians hired Lindquist to be the AZL Indians Blue bench coach before COVID-19 caused the cancellation of the minor league season. He was then a bench coach for the ACL Indians in 2021, Columbus Clippers in 2022, Lake County Captains in 2023, and Akron RubberDucks in 2024.
