The most famous major league players who went to Princeton University are probably Moe Berg and George Sisler's son Dave Sisler. Val Picinich also attended for a year. Commissioner Bowie Kuhn graduated from Princeton in 1947.
One source says that baseball at Princeton began in 1858 when freshmen formed The Baseball Club of the Class of 1862 of Nassau Hall. Source: History Boileryard Clarke was the first full time head coach at Princeton and the school's home field is named for him.
