Biographical Information[edit]
Drew Stratton played in the minor leagues and for the USA national baseball team.
Stratton represented the USA in the 1985 Intercontinental Cup. [1] He was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 8th round of the 1986 Amateur Draft, and he hit .244/.350/.392 in 44 games for the Medford A's in his first season. He recorded a .211/.293/.303 batting line for the Modesto A's in 1988, and he played 134 games with 5 homers and a .235/.333/.309 batting line in 1989 then his professional career ended. In '89, he was 6th in the A's chain with 67 walks, between Gary Jones and Lee Tinsley. He later was a financial advisor and Little League coach. [2]
