Biographical Information[edit]
The grandson of Jack Dunn and son of Jack Dunn Jr., Jack Dunn III followed his ancestors in having a role with the Baltimore Orioles (IL). He managed the club briefly in 1949, taking over for Tommy Thomas in a 63-91 campaign. He was replaced by Nick Cullop the next season. He also played in the 1940 Mexican League, hitting .188/~.224/.359 for the Mexico City Red Devils and Nuevo Laredo Owls. Dunn later became the first traveling secretary for the major league Baltimore Orioles.
During WW II, Dunn was a fighter pilot in air corps.
