Biographical Information[edit]
A former commissioner of the Mexican League (1982-1999), Pedro Treto Cisneros was the author/editor of the first Mexican League encyclopedia. He also was a sports reporter, sports columnist and general manager of the Saraperos de Saltillo. He was named the Mexican League Executive of the Year in 1987. In 1999 he was elected to the Salon de la Fama. Shortly before his death, he helped lead the effort to establish the Salon de los Immortales, the successor to the Salon de la Fama.
