Biographical Information[edit]

The older brother of Trevor Hoffman, infielder Glenn Hoffman played parts of nine seasons in the majors. After his playing career ended, he spent several years as a minor league manager in the Los Angeles Dodgers system. He was interim manager of the Dodgers for part of the 1998 season and then spent the next seven seasons on their coaching staff. Hoffman became the San Diego Padres third base coach in 2006.
