2025 Pacific Mini-Games
The 2025 Pacific Mini-Games were held in Palau from June 30-July 7, 2025. The baseball portion was held at Nippon Baseball Stadium in Koror City. The Federates States of Micronesia returned after a 20-year absence; the field remained at five teams as the Solomon Islands were a late withdrawal.

Northern Mariana Islands 7,
Guam 6. The defending champs stage a late-game comeback. Down 6-4 with one out left, Lamarc Iguel and Harry Nakamura Jr. have back-to-back pinch-hit singles off Peter Concepcion. 3B Spencer Dickinson doubled them in to tie it and C Jerald Cabrera singles in the winner. Kevin Villagomez gets the win. In a losing cause, both 3B Ashton Tedtaotao and LF Sean Balauro-Egenias go 3-for-3.
Palau 7,
Federated States of Micronesia 1. Ray Rumong allows one run in a complete game win over Tayshaun Mendiola. Palau gets a balanced offense, with six different players scoring runs and two of the other starters driving in runs. 3B JT Loyola drives in SS Steve Mendiola Jr. with the lone Micronesian run.
Guam 10,
Fiji 0. Due to the rescheduled games, Guam winds up playing their second game today and it goes much smoother. Arren Yatar fires a two-hitter and 2B Leon Guerrero falls a triple shy of a cycle. The loss goes to Marnoah Sorovakatini; Fiji's lone hits come from SS Lemeki Biaudamu and 49-year-old 1B Tavo Sorovakatini, the pitcher's father.

Northern Mariana Islands 15,
Fiji 7. DH Harry Nakamura Jr. and RF Josh Jones each drive in 3 to back the pitching of Jose Deleon. Tavo Sorovakatini again does not look his age, going 3-for-4 with a walk, steal, two runs and a RBI to pace Fiji's offense. Epeli Ratabacaca gets the loss.
Guam 12,
Palau 7. Nolan Cruz saves Sean Balauro-Egenias's win over O'neill Yobech. RF John Salas Jr. goes 4-for-4 with 3 runs and 6 RBI, falling a triple shy of a cycle. In a losing effort, LF Ray Rumong reaches all three times, homers and drives in a pair.
Federated States of Micronesia 6,
Northern Mariana Islands 5. Micronesia downs the defending champs for their first win in 20 years. Starter Francisco Lieto carries a 5-3 lead into the bottom of the final inning; he gets two outs while allowing two runners aboard then 1B Michael Rudolph Jr. singled in a run, PH Kenji Yamaguchi got plunked and David Santos's pop got dropped for a two-run error by 2B Nokki Saralu. LF G-Shawn Luther had three hits for Micronesia while Saralu was 3-for-3 for the Mariana Islanders. Walter Ladore Jr. was the winning hurler.

Guam 10,
Federated States of Micronesia 6. SS/2B Guaifon Terlaje and RF John Salas Jr. each produce three runs and Javier Concepcion allows two runs in five for the win. The loss goes to TJ Loyola, while CF Fritz Mendiola Jr., the #9 hitter, scores a pair for Micronesia.
Palau 12,
Fiji 2. 2B Kedson Rechemang scores three runs and Flavin Flavin Jr. gets the win over Marnoah Sorovakatini. Fiji's pitchers walk 13 batters today.

Federated States of Micronesia 13,
Fiji 1. Fiji finishes winless as Tayshaun Mendiola strikes out 9 in a complete game win, backed by big days from 3B JT Loyola (3 H, 3 R), C David Santos (4 H) and CF Fritz Mendiola Jr. (3 R). 1B Epeli Ratabacaca drives in SS/P Lemeki Biaudamu with the lone run for Fiji. Marnoah Sorovakatini falls to 0-3.
Palau 12,
Northern Mariana Islands 5. In a battle for the second spot in the Gold Medal Game, the defending champs go down. After dominant performances in the last two Pacific Games or Mini-Games to feature baseball, Josh Jones is roughed up in losing to O'neill Yobech. LF Ray Rumong has 3 hits and 3 RBI for Palau and 3B Seth Seklii also drives in three for the hosts. 2B Nokki Saralu homers for the Mariana Islands.

Northern Mariana Islands 15,
Federated States of Micronesia 5. The defending champs salvage a Bronze Medal and guarantee that US protectorates will sweep the medals. 1B Nathan Camacho hits a two-run homer, a three-run homer and drives in six, getting three hits and three runs. He is not the only Mariana player to excel at the plate today - 3B Franko Nakamura goes 3-for-3, DH Spencer Dickinson scores three times and C Jerald Cabrera drives in three. Anthony Tenorio defeats Walter Ladore Jr. 2B Russkin Aldens paces Micronesia with two hits, two runs and a RBI.
Palau 8,
Guam 1. Palau wins their second Pacific title, having previously won in the 2007 South Pacific Games. C Pipen Teiich Mitsur has three hits and three RBI while Joshua Mathew closes it out with 6 1/3 shutout innings of relief. 1B Nolan Cruz drives in 2B Leon Guerrero in the first but it is the only run for Guam. Sean Balauro-Egenias is the losing hurler.
