Biographical Information

Kenji Yamaguchi was on the Federated States of Micronesia national team for the 2025 Pacific Mini-Games and was presumably related to teammate Marlon Yamaguchi. His first at-bat came as a pinch-hitter for Marlon (who was the DH), against the Northern Mariana Islands' Francisco Lieto but he struck out; he got plunked by Lieto the next time up. He finished the event 1-for-3 with 2 HBP and a run and did not play the field; his hit was a double off Kaiden Weakley of Guam.
