Biographical Information

David Santos was the starting catcher for the Federated States of Micronesia national team in the 2025 Pacific Mini-Games. His first time up, he struck out against Ray Rumong of champion Palau. His first hit was off Guam's Javier Concepcion. With one out left and a 5-4 deficit against the defending champion Northern Mariana Islands, he hit into a game-ending, two-run error by Nokki Saralu. He had a four-hit game against Fiji. Overall, he hit .417/.611/.667 with 3 doubles, 5 walks, 4 runs and 3 RBI in 5 games, fielding .917 and throwing out 1 of 16 who tried to steal. He led the event in two-baggers, tied for 6th in hits, tied Saralu and Lemeki Biaudamu for 6th with 8 total bases, trailed only Olkeriil Ise in walks, allowed the most steals and tied John Salas Jr. for 3rd in OBP.
