The 2013 Baltimore Orioles saw their streak of consecuive wins in extra-inning games, dating back to 2012, end at 17 when they lost to the Toronto Blue Jays in 11 innings on April 24th. The streak was tied for longest in American League history with the 1949 Cleveland Indians.
The team set a fielding record by committing only 54 errors all years, the lowest total ever for a full 162-game season. The team's fielding percentage was an outstanding .991, also a major league record.
