Jasrado Chisholm has been a minor league infielder.
Signed by the Arizona Diamondbacks for a $200,000 bonus in 2015, he made his pro debut in 2016. The third-youngest player in the Pioneer League (after Jomar Cortes and Keibert Ruiz), he hit .281/.333/.446 with 42 runs, 9 homers and 13 steals in 17 tries over 62 games for the Missoula Osprey; one issue was 73 whiffs in 249 AB. He fielded .921 at short. He was 9th in the Pioneer League in dingers and 7th in strikeouts. He was not named the league's All-Star shortstop, as that was Hector Vargas. Baseball America rated him as the loop's #9 prospect (between Gilbert Lara and T.J. Friedl) and as Arizona's 5th-best prospect entering 2017 (between Socrates Brito and Anfernee Grier).
In the 2017 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers, the teenager started at short for the Great Britain national team, flanked by fellow Bahamians Albert Cartwright (2B) and Kyle Simmons. He hit .250/.294/.313 with one run and one RBI in four games, getting three of his four hits against Pakistan. His walk against Josh Zeid in the 7th helped end a perfect game bid by Israel in the finale.
