The 2012 Chinese Professional Baseball League was the 23rd CPBL season. The Lamigo Monkeys won their first title (they had won when they had been the La New Bears previously), beating the Uni-President Lions in the 2012 Taiwan Series.

The CPBL MVP was Ssu-Chi Chou of the Brother Elephants, who hit .365/.462/.587 with a league-best 80 walks. The Rookie of the Year was Yu-Kang Fu of the Uni-President Lions, who was 4-1 with a 1.20 ERA in relief.
