Biographical Information[edit]
Wenyu Wang played for the Beijing Tigers in the China Baseball League, and he represented China in the 2025 Asian Championship. He relieved Shihao Li in the 6th inning against Japan, but he plunked Manami Soeda then gave up hits to Keisho Amiya and Ryosuke Aizawa. Wang retired Tomoya Furukawa, but he then gave up a RBI triple to Yuki Sato. Pinch-hitter Keita Wada, Shinnosuke Nishimura and Yuki Tsujimoto then hit three straight singles, and Wang finally forced Kaito Yoshikawa to ground out to end his work. China lost to South Korea in the Bronze Medal game. [1]
