Biographical Information

Shihao Li played for the Beijing Tigers in the China Baseball League, and he represented China in the 2025 Asian Championship. He relieved Haizheng Wu in the 6th inning against Japan, but he surrendered a leadoff double to Keisho Amiya. Li then retired the next five batters, and he walked Yuki Tsujimoto in the 4th inning. Toyo Kumada grounded out and ended that inning, but Manami Soeda then hit a single in the 5th inning. He then stole second, and he advanced to third due to Li's wild pitch. Li gave up a run because of Ryosuke Aizawa's grounder, and he forced Tomoya Furukawa to fly out. However, Li had some trouble in the 6th inning after three elite innings. Yuki Sato hit a leadoff homer, and he was replaced by Wenyu Wang after he let the next four batters reach base. China lost to South Korea in the Bronze Medal game.
