The University of Northern Colorado was known as Colorado State College until 1970. It is not to be confused with Colorado State University. The school has sponsored baseball since 1924, except the 1943-1944 seasons. The Bears won 24 straight conference titles between 1945 and 1968 [1]. The school is currently a full member of the Big Sky Conference, which does not sponsor baseball.
