Biographical Information[edit]
Po-Ju Huang played for the Chinese Taipei national team in the 2025 Asian Championship. He pitched a shutout inning against South Korea with a strikeout of Tong-keon Yeo, and he succeeded Jun-Wei Zhang in the 5th inning against Japan. Huang gave up two singles to Yukiya Yano and Shohei Mizutani, then he struck out Yuki Tsujimoto, and retired Toyo Kumada. However, Huang then surrendered a RBI single to Manami Soeda, and Japan tied the game due to his wild pitch. He got Ryosuke Aizawa to end the inning, and he struck out the next two batters in the 6th inning. Yano then drew a walk, and Huang was replaced by Yu-Chieh Wang. Taiwan lost to Japan and won Silver in the event.
