The Pittsburgh Rebels played in the Federal League. In 1914, they finished in seventh place, and the following year they improved to third place. Their biggest star was former Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman Ed Konetchy, and they played their home games at the Pirates' former park, Exposition Park.

Their manager was Rebel Oakes.
