Biographical Information[edit]

Douglas Ramírez was the second-youngest player on the Salvadoran national team in the 2025 Bolivarian Games, 7 months older than Gabriel Domínguez. He closed out their 11-0 mercy rule loss to Curaçao, replacing Juan Artiga in the 6th with a 6-0 deficit. Jamal Zalm greeted the teenager with a single. After a wild pitch and a Jayden Felicia ground-out, Riordan Windster singled in a run. He got Stephan Vidal on a fly then hit a rough stretch. Kay-Lan Nicasia drew a four-pitch walk then both runners stole before Ray-Jacson Chirino delivered a two-run single. Darwin Gregg got plunked and Shendrion Martinus's double scored two more but he was out trying for third. He did not have El Salvador's highest ERA as Bryan Martinez and Eduardo Palacios were higher.
