Biographical Information[edit]

Darwin Gregg has been on the Curaçao national team.

He was 0-for-8 with a walk in a COVID-19-shortened college freshman season then hit .277/.404/.608 with 38 RBI and 10 homers in 45 games in 2021. He remained solid in 2022 (.299/.355/.502), missed 2023 and batted .314/.412/.615 with 35 runs in 45 games in 2024. As a graduate transfer at Jackson State, he slipped to .217/.360/.450. Playing for his homeland in the 2025 Bolivarian Games, he started in right field and hit 6th in their opener against El Salvador. He drew a walk from Héctor Martínez his first time up, reaching all four times that day. He hit .417/.600/.417 with 5 walks and 5 runs in 5 games, fielding .923 as a C/OF and throwing out 3 of 7 who tried to steal. He tied MVP Tito Polo for 4th in average, led in OBP (.021 ahead of Jesús Marriaga), tied for 4th in runs, tied for 3rd in walks (after Jayden Felicia and Kay-Lan Nicasia), tied for 3rd in HBP (2, one behind Polo and Liam Arakaki) and was second in runners thrown out stealing (one behind Luis Atocha).
