Biographical Information[edit]

Chris Burke was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 1st round of the 2001 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Danny Watkins and made his pro debut that summer.

Burke hit an 18th-inning walk-off home run in Game 4 of the 2005 NLDS vs. the Atlanta Braves to send the Houston Astros to the NLCS.

Burke announced 2012 CWS Regionals, 2014 CWS Regionals, 2014 CWS Super Regionals, 2015 CWS Super Regionals, 2017 CWS Regionals, 2017 CWS Super Regionals, 2017 College World Series, and 2018 College World Series games for ESPN. He also was announcer for the 2015 Little League World Series on ESPN.
