Team History[edit]

The Auburn Doubledays are a Washington Nationals affiliate in the New York-Penn League. They play their home games at Leo Pinckney Field at Falcon Park in Auburn, New York. The team was named in honor of Abner Doubleday - the legendary but now discredited (in favor of Alexander Cartwright) "Inventor of Baseball."
