Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Sam Narron, who pitched one game for the Texas Rangers in 2004 shortly after he turned 23 years old, went 15-5 split between two minor league teams in 2008.
Narron was pitching coach of the Auburn Doubledays in 2012-2013, Hagerstown Suns in 2014-2017, and Potomac Nationals in 2018-2019. He was scheduled to be pitching coach of the Harrisburg Senators in 2020 before the season was cancelled due to Covid-19 then did coach Harrisburg in 2021. Narron was assistant pitching coach of the Rochester Red Wings in 2026.
He is the son of Sam Narron, the nephew of catcher and manager Jerry Narron and John Narron and the grandson of catcher Sam Narron. He is the grandnephew of Milton Narron and second cousin of Connor Narron. His grandfather Sam was a catcher with the St. Louis Cardinals.
