Oscar Angulo hit .277/.307/.361 in 26 games for the 2004 AZL Brewers. Primarily a DH, he made one error in twelve chances at second base and third base. He also pitched 3 2/3 shutout innings, but walked four and allowed four hits.

Angulo has since played in Spain's Division Honor. He hit .295/.348/.349 for El Llano in 2008 and tied for second in the league with 27 runs. In 2009, he starred for CB Viladecans, putting up a .379/.438/.591 line with 17 steals in 26 tries, 32 runs and 32 RBI in 36 games. He was 7th in average, 6th in slugging, 6th in runs, 4th in hits (50), tied for second in RBI (behind Richard Montiel), tied for second in triples (4), tied for 5th in homers (4), 2nd in steals, led in times caught stealing and second in total bases (78, trailing Montiel).

Oscar switched Spanish clubs again, hitting .390/.458/.626 with 40 runs and 39 RBI in 32 games for FC Barcelona in 2010. He was 10th in average, 7th in slugging, tied Tony Granadillo for 6th in runs, tied for 5th in RBI, led in triples, tied for 7th in total bases (77) and tied for 5th in steals (12, caught only once). He was with the Venezuelan national team for the 2010 Pan American Games Qualifiers.

On Opening Day, 2011, Angulo made an error behind a no-hitter, no-walk game from Ricardo Hernandez. Combined with a hit batsmen by Hernandez, it cost the hurler a perfect game.
