Biographical Information[edit]
Glenn Dishman started his professional baseball career in 1993 pitching in the San Diego Padres organization. He made his major league debut in 1995 with the Padres and spent 1995-1997 as a major league pitcher for three different organizations. Dishman continued playing after the major league portion of his career ended. He split the 2001 season between teams in Mexico and Taiwan. Dishman completed his playing career in 2002 with the Sonoma County Crushers of the independent Western League.
Soon after his playing career ended, Dishman turned to coaching and worked for multiple organizations over the next 20+ years.

Dishman began 2010 with the AZL Dodgers until early July when he replaced Jim Slaton in Albuquerque who left the Isotopes to attend to his ailing father. In 2020, Dishman was scheduled to be the Sacramento River Cats pitching coach before the season was cancelled due to COVID-19.
