Biographical Information[edit]

Reliever Bo Hall played in the minor leagues from 2002 to 2008, peaking briefly at Triple-A.

He was taken by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 19th round of the 2002 amateur draft and began his pro career that year. He had one year of particular note, 2003, going 8-4 with 32 games finished, 11 saves, a 2.59 ERA and a 9.4 K/9 IP for the Beloit Snappers. His ERAs rose after that, though in 2006, he had 102 strikeouts in 82 2/3 innings and again averaged more than a K per inning in 2007. He was taken by the New York Yankees in the Triple-A round of the 2007 Rule V Draft and spent a year in their system. He reached Triple-A for the first and only time in 2008, but made just 3 appearances.

Overall, Hall went 32-32 with a 4.77 ERA in 236 games (39 starts). In 552 2/3 innings, he allowed 550 hits and 215 walks (1.384 WHIP), while striking out 543 batters. He twice finished second in the league in home runs allowed - in 2004, his 21 dingers allowed tied Juan Sandoval for second in the California League behind Khalid Ballouli's 23 and in 2006, his 15 home runs allowed tied Kyle Kendrick for second in the Florida State League, behind Kevin Ardoin's 16.
