The University of Wyoming is the only four-year school in the state of Wyoming. The school competed in the Rocky Mountain Faculty Athletic Conference from 1921 to 1937, the Mountain States Conference from 1938 to 1962, and the Western Athletic Conference through the end of the school's baseball program. UW currently competes in the Mountain West Conference in other sports.
