The Rome Braves, of the High-A South Atlantic League and briefly in High-A East, play on a diamond that used to mimic that of their parent club. The Atlanta Braves farmhands play their home games at AdventHealth Stadium in Rome, GA.
Although Advent's name has changed since it debuted as State Mutual Stadium, the end of the mimicking did not happen because of any changes to it. The Rome ballpark's field was laid out to mirror [[Atlanta, GA|Atlanta's Turner Field - which the big Braves left for a new suburban park after the 2016 campaign.
The Braves' top three farm clubs were all parent-owned when MLB's 2021 Minor League Reorganization raised the R-Braves one level - and all four remaining Atlanta farm teams are among those Endeavor Group Holdings acquired in late 2021 and put under its newly created Diamond Baseball Holdings subsidiary. Endeavor, which was created in a merger of two talent agencies, also owns Ultimate Fighting Championship and Miss Universe. However, after the MLB Players Association threatened to block Endeavor talent agents from representing professional baseball players on the grounds that a talent agency owning baseball teams is a conflict of interest, Endeavor sold DBH to the equity firm Silver Lake Partners - a major investor in Endeavor.
In August 2023, the Rome Professional Baseball club announced its intent to rebrand and move away from the Braves moniker. In November the new name Rome Emperors was announced.
