Vilchez then joined the Dutch team for the 2025 European Championship, making two appearances. He relieved Shairon Martis in the 6th with a 7-4 lead, two outs and men on the corners against France. He got Felix Brown to end the inning. In the 7th, he retired Ernesto Martínez Jr., struck out Daniel Patrice, walked José Paula and whiffed Julien Monks.
