Biographical Information[edit]

Marie Bullen played for the Czech Republic in the 2025 European Women's Championship. The 15-year-old appeared in all four of their games, either at pitcher or in right field. She debuted in their opener against the Netherlands, relieving Silvie Hanzalová with a 8-0 lead in the 5th. She walked Tingzhu Ge, struck out Wendy Bladt, walked Cherise Stravers (by this time Ge had stolen her way around the bases!), retired Kyra van Genderen, walked Lotte de Groot and hit Anouk Vergunst. Izabela Tomši took over and escaped the jam. Her first plate appearance, she hit a two-run triple off Sophie Willis of Great Britain. She saved Tereza Stejspalová's win over defending champion France. For the Silver Medalists, she was 1-for-7 with a run and two RBI, had a 4.20 ERA and handled one putout in the field. She tied Claury Scatliffe for the tourney lead in saves and tied for second in triples. [1]
