Biographical Information

Lotte de Groot debuted for the Dutch women's national team in the 2025 European Women's Championship. The teenager played second base and hit third in their opener against Czechia. She tripled off Silvie Hanzalová her first time up. She was 4-for-10 with 2 walks, 3 runs and 2 steals in 3 tries in their three games; at 2B, SS and C, she handled 18 chances error-free and threw out one of two runners who tried to steal. She tied Diane Simon for second in assists (8, 3 behind MVP Darier Malone); only Tereza Šustrová had more chances without an error.
