Klaus Scheicher has played for the Austrian national team.

He debuted in the Austrian Bundesliga in 2024, going 0 for 2 for the Wiener Neustadt Diving Ducks. [1] He was 0-2 with a 8.75 ERA in the 2024 European U18 Championship, losing to Spain and France. [2] He had a 0-1, 7.71 record in the 2025 European Cup, dropping the opener to Kevin Rodríguez and the champion Marlins Puerto Cruz. [3] He was 0-1 with a 8.18 ERA in the 2025 U23 European Championship, dropping a decision to France's Kenny Esposito. [4] That summer, he had a 5-1, 5.44 record for the Diving Ducks, fanning 45 in 44 2/3 IP. He tied for 6th in the league in wins. [5] He then made the Austrian squad for the 2025 European Championship. He relieved Nico Schadler in the 6th with a 9-6 lead over Belgium, one on and two out. He walked Robin Roevens but struck out Zion De Brauwer. Mathias Albert relieved in the 7th. Things did not go as smoothly against defending champion Spain. Succeeding Vitus Gneist in the 7th with a 5-0 deficit, he allowed a Wander Encarnación single, walked Jesús Ustariz, retired Edison Valerio then yielded a run on a delayed double steal. After he walked Félix Stevens, Louis Patrick came in but let both runners score. Only Patrick had a higher ERA for Austria in the event. [6]
