Biographical Information

Kenichi Oshio was drafted by the Yakult Swallows in the 4th round of the 1989 NPB draft, and he was 2-1 with a 6.47 ERA for the Salinas Spurs in 1991. He only pitched 2 games for the big club before he announced his retirement in 1998, and he coached the Swallows from 2016 to 2017. He later scouted for the Swallows, signing Yu Hirosawa, Takumi Ishii, Keigo Kitamura and Kotaro Komori.
