Biographical Information

Takumi Ishii has played in Nippon Pro Baseball. His brother Kazunari Ishii also played in NPB.

Ishii represented Japan in the 2024 U-23 Baseball World Cup. He was drafted by the Yakult Swallows in the 6th round of the 2025 NPB draft; the scout was Kenichi Oshio. He made his NPB debut on May 9, 2026 against the Hiroshima Carp.
