Biographical Information

Taijiro Yano has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Yano played for the Ehime Mandarin Pirates from 2021 to 2024, and he was drafted by the Yakult Swallows in the 5th round of the 2024 NPB draft; the scout was Kenichi Oshio. He hit .169/.250/.200 in 66 games in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2025, and he made his NPB debut on July 4, 2026 against the Yokohama BayStars.
