Biographical Information

Kotaro Komori has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Komori was drafted by the Yakult Swallows in the 4th round of the 2021 NPB draft; the scout was Kenichi Oshio. He hit .200/.300/.314 in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2022, and he had a .230/.288/.405 batting line there in 2023. Komori improved to .252/.301/.317 in 2024, and he led the Eastern League with 24 steals. He also played 4 games for the top team, but he had a 0-for-5 record. The Rakuten Golden Eagles the picked him as the compensation for losing free agent Eigoro Mogi, and he hit .197/.225/.250 in 33 games for their top team in 2025.
