Biographical Information[edit]

Julian Tima has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Tima signed with the Yomiuri Giants in 2019 as a development player, and he stayed with their third minor league team in his first four seasons. He crushed 8 homers with a .270 batting line there in 2023, and he played one game in the NPB Farm Leagues. Tima then hit .251/.292/.425 with 15 homers in 2024, and he was 5th in hits (between Tomoya Koike and Daiki Irie), 9th in doubles (tied with Shion Matsuo), 2nd in homers (4 behind Daito Yamamoto) and 3rd in RBI (between Yuki Nomura and Kento Inoue). Tima blasted 8 homers with a .252/.291/.384 batting line in 2025, and he was 6th in hits (tied with Taiki Sekine), 3rd in doubles (tied with Soshi Yoshino), 10th in homers and 6th in RBI (between Koki Yamaguchi and Ryuhei Kuki). He made his NPB debut on May 28 against the Softbank Hawks.
