Biographical Information

Kento Inoue has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Inoue played for the Tokushima Indigo Socks from 2022 to 2023, and he was drafted by the Yokohama BayStars in the 6th round of the 2023 NPB draft; the scout was Mitsunori Kakehata. He played 25 games with a .190/.261/.310 batting line in 2024, and he was 5-for-29 in 2025. Inoue crushed 10 homers with a .237/.298/.377 in the minors, and he was 3rd in homers in the Eastern League (tied with Yuta Nakamigawa and Ren Sawai) and 4th in RBI (54). In '25, his first career homer with the big club was a grand slam off Hiroto Takahashi in a 4-3 win; he was the 94th NPB player to hit a grand slam as their first NPB dinger.
