He went 0-2 with a save and a 2.77 ERA for them in 2023. He allowed 3 unearned runs in 3 2/3 IP in the 2023 U-23 European Championship. [2] He was 6-1 with a save and a 3.63 ERA in 2024.

In the 2025 U-23 European Championship, he was 1-0 with a 0.95 ERA, beating Austria's Alexander Kienberger. [3] During the 2025 Serie A1, he had a 4-4, 3.26 record with 86 K in 80 innings. [4] He made it to Italy's senior team by the 2025 European Championship. He made two appearances for the second-place finishers. He relieved Maurizio Andretta with a surprising 3-0 deficit in the second against Greece with one on and no outs. He calmed things down for the most part. Hondro Torres bunted over the runner, then Akili Carris flew out. Kasey Caras doubled to make it 4-0 but Infante got Dimitri Kourtis. After Italy got back one run, Infante retired Ari Sechopoulos to open the 3rd. He walked Nick Varon and plunked George Anthanasiadis but got Andre Demetral to hit into a double play. Italy took a 5-4 lead before Luca Di Raffaele took over and Infante got the win over Dean Christidis, having helped rescue the team from a rough beginning. Against the Czech Republic in the semifinal, he took over for Mattia Aldegheri in the 7th with a 5-1 lead and one on. Vojtěch Menšík bunted for a hit and Infante made a throwing error on the play. He threw a wild pitch to make it 5-2, then walked Max Prejda. Mattia Sireus came in and escaped further damage. [5]
