Biographical Information

Max Prejda has been on the Czech national team.

He was the starting right fielder for the Czech entry in the 2024 U18 European Championship, hitting .294/.458/.353 with 9 steals (in 11 tries) and 9 runs in 7 games, with six putouts, two assists and no errors. He tied Tyrique Lambert for 8th in runs and led in swipes. Making his Extraliga debut that summer, he slashed .333/.390/.500 in limited time for Kotlarka Praha. His 3 triples in the regular season were one shy of leader Tyler Smith. In '25, he batted .349/.406/.508. He was 10th in average (between Martin Červinka and Adam Hajtmar) and tied for 7th in steals (12). He was then a starter for the Czechs in the 2025 European Championship, even though he was their youngest player. Starting in left and hitting 9th in their opener, he flew out against Germany's Markus Solbach his first time up. He moved to right field in their other games and got his first hit off Spain's Jorge Balboa. They had a rematch with Spain in the Bronze Medal Game and he was 0-for-3 with a walk and a run in their win that gave his country its first European Championship medal. He was at .118/.348/.176 with 3 runs and 2 RBI in 6 games, fielding .933.
